Learning Remotely

Welcome to our Remote Learning page.

As our current situation develops we are adapting this page to reflect our new procedures and expectations for the Spring Term.

We recognise that we are all in unprecedented times and that any of the activities we set can in no way represent a replacement for an experience and discovery based curriculum in a first school. However, we will endeavour to provide all children with work to support their learning and wherever possible, in a clear sequence.

We have a tiered approach to remote learning that will begin with the resources that you can find on this page and are linked to your child’s class. Should there be the need for individual, small group or whole class isolation, these resources are for the first day only.

In the case of small group or individual isolation, a ‘grab pack’ of resources will be available after the first day of isolation and this should be collected from the school. The pack will include some printed activities that develop skills that are part of your child’s learning and some online links to videos and activities.

In the case of full class, or even whole school closure, lessons will move to remote learning and will be provided through Google Classroom.
