Welcome to our new and developing Remote Learning page.
We recognise that we are all in unprecedented times and that any of the activities we recommend can in no way represent a replacement for an experience and discovery based curriculum in a First School. It is a challenging time for everyone and families, safety and well-being come first.
However this is a great time for families to work together and support children in their own personal development, both of values and work. The work set is not bespoke to the children, as would be the case in school, but we do expect the children to complete the activities to their ability level. Should you feel the work is not the best match for your child at any point, please feel free to look at an alternative year groups’ activities.
In the Useful Links section below you will find many websites that you can access with your child/children, including Oxford Owl. This site gives access to a wide selection of appropriate, age related reading books, as well as many other resources. Of course these providers may be experiencing unprecedented demand so please be patient should you experience any access difficulties.
You will also find year group specific downloads available each week, starting from Friday 27th March. Some of the included activities are online and some are paper activities. This ensures that access is available for all. They will be updated each Friday and published in the Documents & Forms section below and will also appear on the Class Pages.
